Fire Tunes Of The Day Featuring Ms Banks, Wiley, Davido, JMSN & Post Malone

Got another bumper FTOD post for your listening pleasure today; enjoy!
Ms Banks – Clap
London rapper Ms Banks dropped her latest LP The Coldest Winter Ever this past Friday and it’s filled with heaters while also showcasing her versatility as a musician with rap, grime & afrobeat influences littered all over the record. However, my favourite song off the tape is easily Clap, which is one hell of a bop. Check out the LP here & listen to the fire tune below
Wiley – Over It
Grime originator Wiley dropped his latest album The Godfather II on Friday and after listening over the weekend, I’ve concluded that I prefer it to the prequel The Godfather which dropped last year. The album fuses multiple genres and sees Wiley spitting on both grime & rap riddims. Over It is my standout record so far as I’ve been unable to get the hook out of my head and the artist with the uncredited vocals deserve a moment for what he did to the song. Davido – Assurance
Afrobeat superstar Davido finally let go off his latest release Assurance earlier this week and I expect this to blow up just like the vast majority of his discography. Assurance sees OBO profess his love for the primary lady in his life, while providing assurance to her that he’s in it for the long run. Check out the FTOD below
JMSN – So Badly
I’ve always been a casual fan of JMSN but I got particularly blown away by So Badly after hearing it on Joe Budden’s podcast where it was featured as a sleeper tune of the week. Press play and enjoy the greatness
Post Malone – Spoil My Night Ft. Swae Lee
Post Malone released his sophomore album beerbongs & bentleys this past Friday and it’s currently scheduled to have the highest 2018 1st week sales in hip-hop stateside so far. I’m a casual fan of Posty and White Iverson’s probably still my favourite record of his but Spoil My Night featuring the yung god Swae Lee definitely goes super hard and is easily my standout from the album.
